Jill Hughes
CEO and Founder
blueumbrella Virtual Assistant Services was founded by Jill in 2001. Whilst serving as a board-level PA at some of the world’s largest organisations (Time Inc. UK, Rolls Royce and the BBC), Jill spotted an opportunity to create a new type of flexible, virtual assistant business. She decided to take the bold step to move away from a successful career to set up blueumbrella.
With Jill leading the way, we established a reputation as a market leader and pioneer in this burgeoning industry. The business has grown and Jill continues to build a highly-skilled, experienced team of board-level PAs.

Harriet Wilcock
Business Manager
Harrie has worked in London and around Europe for the past 16 years as a board-level PA and corporate golf event director for Executive Sports, whilst holding head pianist residencies at The Arts Club Mayfair and Chiltern Firehouse.
This diverse and busy work lifestyle is what led Harrie to become a VA in 2017 and subsequently joining blueumbrella as their Business Manager.
Harrie understands what it takes to be a top-level VA and the importance of the client / VA relationship, to which she looks forward to helping you and your business.
